Meet Ryan Darling

Darling was born in Missoula, Montana, attended Paxson Elementary School and graduated from Hellgate High School. Darling attended the University of Arizona, where he majored in Economics with a minor in Business Management.

However, his secret passion was flying and in his own words “becoming part of the aircraft”. Ryan completed his commercial pilot’s license at “Fly Cochise”, a FAA certified aviation program at Cochise College, Tucson, Arizona. Darling joined his Father’s company for some years, and later launched his own company. Before marriage, family responsibilities and building a business overtook his “hobby” time, Ryan, as a FAA Licensed Flight Instructor enjoyed ten years of instructing aviation students to accomplish their own dreams of taking flight.

As a self-described “Girl Dad”, Darling credits his sixteen and nineteen year old girls for Improving him as a person, and the reason he launched a campaign for the Montana Legislature. Along with many other Montana parents, Ryan is concerned about the unique challenges his daughter’s generation is experiencing. The Montana education system is not working for students, parents, or teachers, even as district budgets spiral out of control causing higher property taxes. Ryan’s goal is to place parents back in the pilot’s seat, expand innovative educational options, while significantly expanding trades and apprenticeships.

Ryan owns and operates Verify 3D LLC. He is a seasoned professional with 16 years’ experience from the decks of naval ships, to deep underground mines, to complicated power plants. Verify 3D offers precision 3D laser scanning, 3DCAD and BIM modeling of existing conditions to streamline renovations and underground mining for Architects, Engineers, General Contractors and Geologists to Visual Media Producers, Archeologists, Insurance Companies and even Forensic Scientists. Darling has extensive experience scanning and modeling Montana mine shafts, tunnels and mining facilities. Verify 3D maintains MSHA certification to work in surface and underground mines. Darling provides services to multiple Montana Heavy industries Oil and Gas, Power Generation, Power Distribution, Ship Building, Car Manufacturing and Mining.
